Fresh chocolaty dark berry blueberry fruits, plentiful graphite, touch pippy tannins and underlying savoury oak notes. Elemental wine with attractive density and vinosity. 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot. 14% alc Lespault Martillac Blanc 90–91 Pale colour. Lemon curd verbena aromas with tonic water notes. Fresh bitter lemon, grapefruit flavours fine sappy textures and fresh indelible acidity. 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Semillon. 13% alc Haut-Bergey 87–89 Medium-deep crimson colour. Dark cherry, dark chocolate, herb garden, hint carob aromas. Soupy textured wine with ample dark berry fruits, savoury/mocha nuances and fine dense chalky tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc. 30+% new oak. Pique Caillou 87–89 Medium-deep crimson colour. Blackcurrant, elderberry, black olive aromas with herb garden notes. Chocolaty firm wine with dark berry, black olive, spicy flavours and crispy long acidity. Touch roasted walnut and firm structure dominates. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot. 35% new oak.
