The wines, in general, possess a shared expression that has truly shaped Margaret River’s identity. The grapefruit aromatics, wonderful fullness on the palate, al dente textures, and indelible fresh acidities are often easily noticeable in blind tastings; this soaring personality and precision are hallmarks of the regional style. Combined, both of these heritage clones can be traced back to 19th century New World aspirations and contribute significantly to Margaret River’s success as one of Australia’s key ultra- fine wine regions.
