Shiraz 2018 Deep colour. Intense blackberry pastille, musky dark plum aromas with dark-chocolate notes. Richly concentrated and supple with abundant smooth dark berry fruits, lacy/al dente tannins, superb mid-palate viscosity and underlying cedar notes. Finishes chalky firm with persistent ripe berry fruits/aniseed notes. Generous, buoyant and vigorous. Idioysncratic but delicious. 88% shiraz, 7% Alicante Bouschet, 4% viognier, 1% grenache. 2022–2030 Moss Brothers G 95 Moses Rock Shiraz 2020 Medium-deep crimson. Intense black cherry, dark plum aromas with vanilla, cedar oak. Fresh inky deep wine with ample dark cherry, dark plum fruits, fine slinky textures, lovely mid-palate richness and well- balanced cedar, vanilla notes. Blue and dark berry fruits at the finish. Very impressive at the price point. 2022–2032 Vasse Felix G 95 Shiraz 2019 Medium-deep crimson. An aromatic shiraz with intense black pepper, blackberry, espresso aromas with sage notes. A well-rounded style with buoyant blackberry, raspberry fruits infused with pure black pepper, fine-grained slightly al dente tannins and fresh long acidity. Generous, supple and refined. A world away from the mainstream styles of South Australia, but highly individual and expressive. Matured in seasoned (100% 1–6 yo) French oak barriques for 10 months. 2022-2027 Vasse Felix G 94 Syrah 2020 Deep crimson. Intense black cherry, crème de cassis aromas with herb/ aniseed notes. Generous and supple with black cherry, hint pepper flavours, fine chalky textures, lovely inky density and fresh long acidity, chalky dry finish. Early drinking style. 2022–2026 Windance Estate G 94 Shiraz 2021 Deep crimson. Intense dark cherry, blackberry aromas with hints of ginger. Richly concentrated with inky deep blackberry. Dark cherry, mulberry fruits, fine chocolaty textures, some ginger/spicy oak notes. Finishes chocolaty firm. Elemental, dense and minerally with very good torque. 2022–2028
