Kevin John Chardonnay 2021 Pale colour. Beautiful lemon curd, hint pineapple, grapefruit aromas with marzipan notes. Gorgeously seductive wine with pure grapefruit, pineapple, nectarine fruits, fine slinky/ al dente textures, superb mid- palate viscosity/ creaminess and integrated marzipan, toasty, vanilla oak notes. The acidity flows across the palate with crispy freshness with a hint of ginger at the finish. Matured in 35% new puncheons of biodynamic origin for 8 months. Quite forward and richly flavoured but superb drinking. 13% alc Drink now – 2028 Deep Woods Estate G 96 Reserve Chardonnay 2020 Pale colour. Classical reference style with attractive flinty, pearksin, grapefruit white peach aromas. Creamy and richly flavoured with ample grapefruit, nectarine fruits, light marzipan, vanilla, yeasty notes, fine lacy/al dente textures and minerally/saline acidity. Some toasty/grilled nut complexity at the finish. 2022–2028 Gralyn Estate G 96 Reserve Chardonnay 2018 Pale colour. Classic grapefruit, white peach aromas with marzipan, grilled nut notes. Well concentrated, creamy and minerally with lovely ripe grapefruit, white peach, apricot flavours, attractive mid-palate viscosity and fresh indelible acidity. Finishes al dente firm with attractive mineral length. This is textbook Margaret River chardonnay, showing superb complexity and torque. Sourced from the Wildberry Vineyard, Wilyabrup. 2022–2028 Howard Park G 96 Margaret River Chardonnay 2020 Pale colour. Intense white peach, grapefruit, marzipan, vanilla aromas with creamy notes. Richly concentrated with apricot, white peach, grapefruit flavours, fine slinky textures, superb grilled nut /toasty complexity, vanilla oak and fresh linear/indelible acidity. Some verbena notes at the finish. Delicious drinking with lovely fruit complexity and oak integration. 2022–2028
