Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2018 Medium-deep crimson. Dark chocolate, blackcurrant, wood varnish aromas with star anise notes. Well concentrated, smooth palate with fresh blackcurrant, dark plum fruits, fine loose-knit grainy tannins and fine mineral acidity. Finishes grainy firm with lovely inky complexity. 67% cabernet sauvignon, 19% merlot, 11.5% malbec, 2.5% cabernet franc. 2022–2032 Gralyn Estate G 95 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 Medium-deep crimson. Intense cassis, dark chocolate aromas with underlying cedar notes. Generous and inky deep with lovely blackcurrant, praline, espresso flavours, fine grainy, slightly grippy tannins and well-integrated cedar, roasted chestnuts. Finishes grainy/ chewy firm with appealing leafy notes. Well balanced and evolved with very good density and freshness. From 1975 plantings. Will have wide appeal among cabernet lovers. 2022–2032 Lenton Brae G 95 Wilyabrup Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 Deep crimson. Intense black cherry, dark plum aromas with mocha, espresso notes. Minerally wine with deep-set black cherry, dark plum, mulberry fruits, some dark chocolate notes, fine supple al dente firm tannins and well balanced mocha, roasted coffee notes. Finishes chalky/chocolaty. Very good richness and extract. 100% cabernet sauvignon. 2022–2034 Moss Brothers G 95 Fidium Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 Deep crimson. Crushed black cherry, blackcurrant aromas with dark chocolate, espresso, herb garden notes. Beautifully concentrated with pure blackcurrant, black cherry fruits, fine loose-knit gravelly/al dente tannins and integrated mocha, roasted coffee, roasted walnut notes. Finishes chocolaty firm/velvety with ample choco-berry fruits. Lovely richness, volume, vigour and structure. 100% cabernet sauvignon. 2022–2035 Passel Estate G 95 Lot 71 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 Deep crimson. Fresh blackberry, praline aromas with vanilla, marzipan notes. Richly concentrated, smooth and velvety with lovely blackberry, blackcurrant, dark chocolate flavours, supple fine grainy textures, superb inky density and underlying espresso oak notes. Finishes surprisingly soft for a claret style, with very good mineral length. Will have very wide appeal. 100% cabernet sauvignon. 2022–2034
