Well concentrated and smooth with ample dark berry dark chocolate flavours, fine bittersweet textures and well integrated acidity. Finishes minerally with graphite notes, Attractive minerally wine with some ferruginous notes. Now–2030 2020 Salomon Estate Finniss River Sea Eagle Vineyard Shiraz G 94 Deep crimson. Intense dark cherry, blackberry, hint bush garrigue, with roasted chestnut, marzipan, vanilla notes. Concentrated pure dark cherry, blackberry, raspberry fruits, fine loose-knit chalky tannins and well integrated mineral acidity. Finishes long with sweet red liquorice notes. Now–2028 2022 Schwarz Wine Co. Meta Shiraz G 94 Medium-deep crimson. Lovely ripe blackberry, dark chocolate aromas with chinotto notes. Voluminous and generous with ample dark berry, dark chocolate flavours, find velvety textures and underlying roasted walnut notes. Finished chocolaty with mineral notes. Bittersweet wine with plush fruit and fresh acidity. Now–2028 2021 Seppeltsfield The Northing Shiraz G 94 Deep crimson. Intense dark chocolate, dark berry aromas with touch of black olive. Richly flavoured choco-berry flavours, slinky textures, very attractive mid-palate volume and underlying cedar oak. Finishes claret firm with liquorice notes. Lovely vim, volume and vigour. Inky deep blackberry, dark cherry, praline, hint mint/sage flavours, fine loose-knit chocolaty tannins, attractive mid-palate density and fresh long mineral acidity.
