2021 Penfolds Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz

Deep crimson. Blackberry, dark chocolate, roasted almond, marzipan aromas with cedar wood notes. Beautifully concentrated wine with complex dark chocolate, blackberry, espresso flavours, fine grainy/ graphite tannins and well integrated mocha, marzipan oak notes. Finishes cedar firm and minerally. Still oak dominant but well matched to the fruit density. Should develop very well. 100% Shiraz, 18 months’ maturation in 42% oak puncheons, 29% new French and 29% new American oak Distinctive complex bouquet of freshly ground pepper, lily, red plums, soft, silky and refined. Super fresh and elegant, dancing lightly yet with latent structure. A lighter, more elegant style. 2020 Man O’ War Kulta Totto Syrah G 96 Attractive bouquet of freshly picked red plum, blueberry jam and mulberries with a hint of toast. Medium-bodied, fine-grained tannins, excellent balance of freshness and fine, slightly dusty tannins with a savoury graphite edge. Long finish. Beautifully elegant, in a mid-weight style. 2021 Coriole Galaxidia Shiraz G 95 Deep colour. Beautifully aromatic wine with dark cherry, hint stone fruit, aniseed aromas. Well balanced dark cherry, dark plum, blackberry fruits, fine chalky textures, very good mid-palate buoyancy and fresh integrated acidity. Lovely flow and length. Should develop very well. Now–2028 2022 Kalleske Wines Moppa Shiraz G 95 Deep crimson. Lifted dark cherry, blackberry, boysenberry, touchstone fruit aromas. Generously concentrated palate with saturated dark berry fruits, dark chocolate, vanilla, hint ginger/apricot flavours, fine loose- knit chocolaty tannins, superb mid-palate viscosity and well integrated acidity. Finishes velvety, minerally and dry. Now–2030 2018 Peter Lehmann Masterton Shiraz G 95 hogsheads. 2025–2035+ 2020 Bilancia la collina Syrah G 96 Deep crimson. Intense dark chocolate, blackberry vanilla roasted chestnut notes. Inky and linearly with lively concentrated dark chocolate. espresso, underlying roasted chestnut, vanilla notes, fine slinky textures and fresh long acidity. Finishes minerally and long. Should develop really well. Now–2030
