Now–2030 2021 Craggy Range Te Muna Road Vineyard Pinot Noir G 96 Very lifted perfumed aromas, spice, savoury, crunchy, lots of layers. Bing cherry. Very fresh and lively, with lovely layers and whole bunch. Yum. 2021 Craggy Range Aroha Pinot Noir G 96 Lifted bouquet, very expressive red cherry purity with silky tannins, fine and lively. More layers, more length, very elongated palate structure, savoury earthy layers and a long finish. Very fine tannins, very fresh, very silky and very long. 96 2022 Shaw + Smith Pinot Noir G 95 Light-medium crimson. Attractive pure red and black cherry aromas with strawberry, herb, hint savoury notes. Lovely buoyant red-fruited wine with ample strawberry, red cherry fruits, some herb, hint sappy notes, very good mid-palate viscosity and underlying vanilla notes. This is a very fine Pinot Noir that really delivers a punch. It’s fruit driven, varietally expressive and primary in nature, but it has lovely richness of flavour, whole bunch complexity and vinosity. Now–keep for a while
