Pastille-like fruits on the palate with fresh animated chalky tannins and minty nuances at the finish. Sweet and savoury wine with attractive juicy freshness. Drink now–soon Camino Wine Co Camino Wine Co Grenache Rosé 2024 G 92 The colour is that of an orange/pink sunset, while the nose is all strawberries and cream. There are small, though pleasant, intrusions from dry herbs, florals and red fruits. Quite an exuberant style, this is fresh and clean with medium length and a gentle finish. An attractive rosé, best consumed in the reasonably near future. Drink now–2027 Forage Supply Co Breaker Blend Shiraz Grenache 2024 G 91 Pale crimson hue, the nose exhibits notes of strawberries and cherries, along with florals, red fruits and gentle spices. A fresh and energetic style, there are boundless flavours here in this wine, destined for early consumption. The wine is of medium length with a sleek texture. Perhaps a little simpler than some, but it is chock full of delicious flavours. Attractive any time over the next few years. Drink now–2028 Hare’s Chase Endurance Grenache 2022 G 91 Medium-deep crimson. Intense plum cacao aromas with some herbgarden/ cola notes. Richly flavoured with dark and red plums, grainy/ light cedary tannins and savoury oak nuances. Builds firm with pronounced juicy acidity at the finish. Drink now–2030 Henschke Johann’s Garden Grenache Mataro 2023 G 91 Light to medium crimson. Attractive red plum, raspberry, roasted walnut aromas with hints of dark chocolate and herbs. Generously concentrated red plum, raspberry pastille, cola, roasted walnut, dark chocolate flavours, fine loose-knit chalky al dente textures, some mid- palate viscosity and persistent crisp acidity. A touch of heat at the finish. Drink now–soon.
