Drink now–soon Hentley Farm The Stray Grenache Shiraz 2023 G 93 Medium-deep crimson. Intense red and black berry fruits with some walnut chinotto notes. An early drinking style with plentiful redcurrant, red cherry, blackberry and loose-knit chalky textures. Travels across the palate with an increasing tannin profile. Bittersweet and chewy at the finish with an aniseed kick. A conversation wine. Drink now–2032 St Hugo Single Vineyard Schild Barossa Valley Grenache 2024 G 93 The hits just keep coming with Grenache. Once the red-headed stepchild of Aussie wine, it is now very much flavour of the month. Incredibly versatile, it is showing us just what it can do when treated with the respect it deserves. The colour here is a pale garnet. The nose offers notes of strawberries, red cherries, spices, a touch of earth and raspberries. This is fresh and youthful and gives us a wine of focus and balance with juicy acidity and a lingering finish with impressive persistence. A really good Grenache. Drink now–2033 Thistledown Wines Fool on the Hill Grenache 2024 G 93 Medium crimson. Redcurrant, strawberry, herbgarden aromas with hints of chinotto/ Campari. Attractive buoyant palate with redcurrent, strawberry, cola fruits, fine chalky textures and classical mid-palate viscosity. Minerally finish. A cool and evocative expression. Drink now– 2032
