There is still oak evident on the nose, but this is quality oak and well into the process of integration. A wine of intensity at every stage. The nose gives us notes of plums, liquorice, coffee beans, black fruits, chocolate, dried herbs and cloves. This really does exhibit bold chocolate flavours. An exuberant style with very good length and fine tannins. One for the long haul. Love it. Drink now–2040 Lou Miranda Estate Heritage Series Centenarian Old Vine 1907 Shiraz 2019 G 94 Deep crimson.
