G 94+

From a superb vintage for the Barossa Valley, this screams generous and approachable, old vine, gorgeously plush Barossa Shiraz – the ultimate crowd pleaser. A maroon/ plum hue, the nose exhibits notes of black fruits, cloves, aniseed, soy, mocha, bergamot, warm earth, bay leaves, chocolate and some well-integrated oak, which adds a subtle but vital touch. Quite a dense palate, but the energy from the acidity balances things immaculately. Perfectly structured, the cushiony tannins on a lingering finish, with some serious persistence, tie this wine together. A ten-year proposition.
