Deep crimson. Intense raspberry, black strap liquorice aromas with mocha notes. Fresh ripe blackberry praline flavours, persistent al dente tannins and complexing mocha, marzipan, roasted walnut notes. Chocolaty/ grippy at the finish with seductive sweet fruit notes. Less is more here. Drink now–2032 Soul Growers Single Vineyard Hampel Shiraz 2023 G 96 Deep crimson. Dark chocolate, dark berry, hint stone fruit aromas with marzipan/vanilla notes. Inky deep choco-berry fruits with marzipan, chinotto notes, slinky/ chalky textures and plentiful underlying juicy acidity. Finishes a touch oaky with seductive sweet fruits. Leave it for a while. Drink 2027–2040 St Hallett Old Block Shiraz 2022 G 96 Deep crimson. Fresh pure blackberry dark chocolate aromas with aniseed notes. Inky deep wine with ample blackberry pastille, touch mocha flavours, fine slinky textures and underlying savoury notes. Classical in proportion with lovely density and mineral length. Delicious, refined and beautifully balanced. Drink now–2034 Two Hands Aerope Shiraz 2020 G 96 Deep crimson. Lifted black cherry, earthy, hint panforte, wax polish aromas. Generous and buoyant with lovely blackberry pastille, mocha, espresso, Black Forest chocolate flavours, some wax polish/ truffle-like notes and fine velvety tannins. Builds up cedary firm at the finish. Very expressive and delicious to drink. Drink now–2045 Two Hands Spirit of Place 1918 Vines Shiraz 2022 G 96 Deep crimson. Inky, blackberry pastille, chinotto aromas with underlying roasted almond notes. Generously concentrated and gravelly textured wine with lovely blackberry pastille, chinotto, marzipan flavours and fine, loose-knit chalky tannins. Finishes firm and minerally. Very well- balanced wine with lovely density, vigour and length. Drink now–2038
