Lloyd Brothers Hills and Coast Rosé 2024
G 90
Alpine strawberries, white raspberry and watermelon rind. Gummy bears and a hint of musk. This picks up on the confectionary delight that Grenache can elucidate and complements it with acute acidity and a dry finish. There is a touch of salt water taffy about the finish but, overall, it’s clean and fresh. Perfect for daytime frivolity. Drink now Lloyd Brothers Grenache Grenache 2024 G 90 Black cherries and fig. Earthy beetroot and turned potting soil. A wine that would benefit from a very slight chill as the sandy tannins and fresh acidity will shine with enthusiasm. Raspberry liquorice and coffee grinds on the finish. Its svelte texture makes this ideal for that course between entree and main. Fun and flirty. Drink now Mollydooker Enchanted Path Shiraz Cabernet 2022 G 90 Blackberry compote, fig jam and cola spice. Truckloads of clove, liquorice and caramel spice. Here, Cabernet interplays with the rich oak providing some blackberries elements to catch up to the indulgent toasty American char. It’s all or nothing here, and is viscous with full-throttle ripe fruit. A fantastic beast of a
wine. Drink now–2028 Mr Riggs The Gaffer Shiraz 2022
