A deep garnet hue for this Barossa blend, the nose gives us notes of red fruits, notably cherries, beef stock and warm earth. There is good ripeness here and the wine is powerful and poised while oak is evident and well handled. Moving to the palate, there is a sweet core of raspberries and chocolate. A medium weight style with a lingering finish, offering sleek tannins. Lots to like here and it should provide pleasure over the next four to six years.
