Asides from rarities, the best performing Grange vintages are 1962, 1963, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1986, 1990, 1991, 1996, 1998, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016. Anniversary vintages also perform well. The market will sometimes pay a premium for bottles with Max Schubert’s signature. Buyers will only pay optimum prices for bottles in pristine original condition, or successfully ‘cliniced’ wines.
