Generously concentrated and velvety in texture with pure blackcurrant, dark plum fruits and fine grainy/ cedary tannins. Claret finish with some violet notes. Very expressive, sturdy in structure and decent. Drink now–2042 Henschke Tappa Pass Vineyard 2022 G 94+ Medium-deep crimson. Fragrant blackberry, elderberry aromas with cedar, marzipan notes. Full-bodied and expressive with abundant blackberry, black cherry, elderberry fruits, plentiful chocolaty, touch grippy tannins and underlying cedarwood, roasted almond, roasted walnut notes. Grippy/ chewy firm at the finish with bittersweet/ chinotto/ aniseed nuances. Keep for a while to allow the wine to settle.
