Deep crimson. Lifted ground coffee, black cherry, black berry aromas with some dark chocolate notes. Inky-deep and oak-driven with marzipan, touch cedar characters sitting slightly on top of the pure dark berry fruits. Finishes chocolaty with a peppery note. Now–2038 Kaesler Wines The Bogan Shiraz 2023 G 94 Medium-deep crimson. Fresh choco-berry fruits with espresso, hint cedar notes. Concentrated wine with attractive blackberry, mocha flavours, fine loose-knit textures, very good mid-palate volume and fresh mineral acidity. Finishes cedary and long with aniseed notes. Now–2036 Kalleske Wines Greenock Shiraz 2024 G 94 Deep crimson. Intense liquorice, dark cherry, nutmeg aromas with hints of ginger and spice. Generous dark cherry, blackberry, spicy flavours, chalky/chocolaty, touch sinewy tannins, and integrated vanilla marzipan notes. Glossy and vigorous with attractive density and length. Now– 2034 Kalleske Wines Moppa Shiraz, Petit Verdot, Viognier 2024 G 94 Deep crimson. Attractive kirsch, chinotto aromas with mocha, herb garden, star anise notes. Richly flavoured with dark cherry, chinotto, dark chocolate, stone fruit flavours, loose-knit chalky, touch graphite tannins and fresh long mineral notes. Builds chewy/cedary firm at the finish. Now–2034 Lambert Estate Family Tree Shiraz 2024 G 94 Deep crimson. Intense blackberry liquorice aromas with cedar notes. Richly concentrated and velvety with ample blackberry, cassis, liquorice flavours, dense chalky textures and underlying savoury, walnut notes. Chinotto/liquorice/peppery notes pervade at the finish. Buoyant, voluminous and heady. Now–2030 Langmeil Winery Orphan Bank Shiraz 2023 G 94 Medium-deep crimson. Intense black cherry raspberry praline aromas with roasted walnut, hint earthy notes. Sweet-fruited with concentrated raspberry glacé fruits, fine chocolaty textures, a hint of grilled almonds and plentiful juicy acidity.
